Taylor Wimpey ticks all the boxes for Cranbrook resident
The newest members of Taylor Wimpey's Cranbrook development have settled into their new home and are now enjoying low maintenance living along with the delights Cranbrook has to offer.
Janet Robson, 62, Paul Berrett, 64, and their Cockapoo Dotty have downsized to a low maintenance home in a safe, friendly community after finding a home that ticks all their boxes at Taylor Wimpey's Cranbrook development.
The couple made the decision to downsize from a three bedroom detached family home and have now settled into a two bedroom semi detached home, The Canford.
When asked why they chose Cranbrook, Janet said: "We were already in the Cranbrook area and Taylor Wimpey was recommended to us a few times by friends and family so we knew we needed to have a look. Being retired, we were really keen on a low maintenance property - something a little smaller than our previous home that made life a little easier for us. Also, with two of our grandchildren nearby, we wanted to stay close to continue spending time with them."
Janet continued: "Upstairs, the gallery landing gives a lovely bright, spacious feeling which we love and we were always really keen to find a home with a separate kitchen, which we have here. We were glad to have the opportunity to tailor our home to our needs, we made changes to the flooring, wardrobes and some of the other fittings and fixtures too.
"Paul liked it from day one! It took me a while to adjust to the space after our previous home, but now I'm loving it and it feels like the perfect fit for us."
