PROPERTY SALES SPECIALIST ANNOUNCES MAJOR EXPANSION DRIVE
SiteSales, a development, sales and marketing specialist business is on a significant growth drive throughout London and the Home Counties, with the aim of selling 2,000 properties per year by 2025. The business is already widely known with a sizeable number of partnerships including 12 local authorities and 12 housing associations. With a new base in Central London, a recruitment drive and a brand refresh set to launch later this year, the company is looking to continue to build upon its long history of success.
Formed over three decades ago by Murray Smith, SiteSales started with just three members of staff, offering housebuilders a range of services, including land transactions, and providing a sales and marketing function. An ambitious, forward-thinking company was forming fast with the first clients including Persimmon and Laing, before being appointed on its first landmark scheme, Stratford Eye for L&Q in 2006. The company now employs 60 members of staff and has sold over 4,000 new homes in the past five years, equating to £1.4bn worth of property across 105 schemes.
Ross Smith, Director of SiteSales comments: “Our aim at SiteSales is to provide a full range of exemplary sales and marketing services to support any client in their development ambitions across London and the Home Counties. We are pleased to have driven successful sales for a broad range of clients across both the private and affordable housing sectors. We do this using a well-oiled machine that has a very site-specific approach whilst maintain excellent value for clients.”
Over the years, SiteSales has been an integral part of the evolution of the ‘not for profit’ sector and has assisted numerous organisations on their individual paths into speculative development. The team has worked for 90% of all London Boroughs and nine of the 12 G15 Housing Associations, as well as Barnardo’s with whom they maintain a working relationship having been chosen to partner with them on their most ambitious development to date, located in Redbridge. SiteSales also has many private developer clients, with two-thirds of all projects in the last five years having incorporated private sale new homes.
SiteSales is adding a Central London base in Devonshire Square from January 2023, a move that will support the company both logistically and sustainably, placing employees in easy reach of projects across the capital and the senior team within easy reach of clients. A brand refresh will be along soon to bolster the significant changes afoot in the business. To support the expansion programme, SiteSales is currently on a recruitment drive, with vacancies on many levels – never a company to ‘run tight,’ they are always willing to talk to personnel at all levels in order to increase their offering to a broad range of clients.
Ross adds: “We are currently working with 18 different clients on 24 different schemes with many more in the pipeline – in fact we are in a very good place with forthcoming projects but are geared up for many more. Our clients know us and trust that our highly experienced and expertly trained staff will deliver and exceed their expectations, from site acquisition to marketing, sales, and aftercare. We are keen to add to that client base too – with our team located across London, we are able to offer our clients the best possible solution. We have London and its surrounds covered and can offer genuine local advice and insights on any project.”
Historically, SiteSales has worked on numerous landmark schemes, including on 714 units at Athletes Village, 500 units at Montmorency Park and 250 units at Stockwell Park Estate but are also willing to help on the smaller projects of 20 units or more. Today, SiteSales is well established and the go-to agent for developing clients that need a dynamic, multi-faceted business that can positively impact the marketing and sales task on any new build scheme within their operating area. With a challenging horizon for the homes market, their experience down the years will ensure their clients are well-guided through whatever lies ahead for the new homes sector.
