Leading Scottish estate agency further builds its operations in Glasgow
As property prices remain strong, Scotland’s leading legal and estate agency, Pacitti Jones, is continuing to expand its operations throughout Scotland in 2022. This week the rapidly growing agency is announcing a further acquisition with Dennistoun based estate agency, Tip Top Homes.
This is expected to be the first of several acquisitions for Pacitti Jones this year as the award-winning estate agency builds its presence throughout Glasgow and Central Scotland. 2021 saw the acquisitions of Kilsyth based Penworth Properties and law firm Alexander, Jubb & Taylor, also based in Dennistoun.
Tip Top was founded in 1987 by successful businesswoman Frances Donnelly and shares similar values to Pacitti Jones – offering a professional, friendly, and customer-first approach. Joining Frances Donnelly at Pacitti Jones will be team members David MacWilliam and Anne-Marie Lipton.
Frances Donnelly, founder of Tip Top Homes commented: “The TipTop Team is delighted to be joining Pacitti Jones who we believe is the right choice to take our business forward. This strategic acquisition will add strength to both businesses and we look forward to continuing to provide a top-quality estate agency – and now legal - service to our many clients.”
Pacitti Jones CEO, John O’Malley, said: “As part of our expanding operations throughout Glasgow and Central Scotland, we are very pleased to be announcing this merger with Tip Top Homes. Frances and her team will bring their local knowledge and expertise to our existing teams in Dennistoun and Burnside. Our focus remains on delivering a professional and high-quality estate agency and legal service to our local communities – and taking the stress out of moving home.”
“With a limited supply of properties coming to the market, the market remains highly competitive and so acquisitions such as these remain important to our future growth plans at Pacitti Jones. Glasgow itself has seen an increase of around 10% in house prices in the last year with asking offers over prices higher than we have ever seen them, yet the sale prices are still generating significant premiums to Home Report valuations. We expect to see this continue into 2022, making it a great time to sell property and reap the rewards of this exponential growth.”
Pacitti Jones now has nine branches across Glasgow and Central Scotland and this merger will expand its operations in the Greater Glasgow region. By combining forces with the well-respected and long-established local business, Pacitti Jones is confident of serving this growing market of house buyers and house movers.
